Bright and beautiful anemones open at the end of winter. They have feathery foliage and wide open flowers in lovely clear colours.

FERTILISER: Lime before planting if soil too acid. Fertilise with blood and bone or general purpose fertiliser at planting and then apply 1-2 applications of high nitrogen fertiliser soon after emergence

LIFTING: These plants naturalise - just leave them in the ground and enjoy!
GROWING:  Cold winter, mild summer (Tasmania, Armidale), Cold winter, warm summer (Melbourne, Adelaide), Warm temperate coastal (Sydney, Perth)
WATER WISE:  Winter and Spring watering only
