Myosotidium hortensia is semi-hardy plant. It can only tolerate light frost so it is best planted in shaded areas or partly shaded areas for places that don't get frosts. In some coastal areas, the plant needs to be planted in protected areas to avoid drying winds that can damage the foliage.
